Plane Containing Two Lines

If two intersecting or parallel lines lie in the same plane, a normal vector can be obtained from their direction vector $$\vec d$$ and the vector joining points on them $$\vec c-\vec a$$:

$$\vec n=\vec d\times(\vec c-\vec a)$$

- Used to construct the plane containing two coplanar lines.
