Parametric Equation of a Line

For a line through $$P(x_1,y_1,z_1)$$ with direction ratios $$a,b,c$$:

$$x=x_1+a\lambda$$

$$y=y_1+b\lambda$$

$$z=z_1+c\lambda$$

Usage

- Used to represent each coordinate of a point on the line in terms of one parameter.
