This is the most important section of the exam. The syllabus is almost the same as that of other MBA exams, such as the CAT, XAT, and SNAP. It is also the most scoring section, as 52 minutes are given for 36 questions. The difficulty level of these questions is not very high; it is slightly easier than the CAT exam.

This section tests your language proficiency, though the time limit of this section is significantly less than that of the other sections. You will be given only 28 minutes for 36 questions. So, one needs to read and understand passages quickly.

Candidates generally find this section easy to medium because there are logical puzzles that one can solve quickly and multiple questions in less time. On the other hand, candidates need to be cautious of the time because if they spend a lot of time on a single puzzle, it can ruin the whole section.

IPMAT exam scores are used to get admission in some of the top B Schools in India and several other countries, including South Africa, the Philippines, Nigeria, Hungary, and Morocco.
