Learn the basics well. Focus on these areas and don't neglect the Decision Making (DM) Section. Refer to the Previous Year Papers of XAT, take the Mock tests seriously and analyze them well. Work on your weak areas and develop a strategy to implement during the exam. If you can follow these, XAT is not a tough exam to crack.
XAT Quant is not very difficult but considered slightly challenging. If you're aware of the basics of the core concepts tested in XAT Quants, and if you practice well, you can definitely crack the quants section.
