Distance of a Point from Two Planes
For planes $$P_1=0$$ and $$P_2=0$$, a point lying on their angle-bisector planes has equal perpendicular distances from both planes:
$$\frac{|P_1|}{\sqrt{A_1^2+B_1^2+C_1^2}}=\frac{|P_2|}{\sqrt{A_2^2+B_2^2+C_2^2}}$$
Usage
- Used to identify the locus of points equidistant from two planes.
