Line Through a Given Point Parallel to a Given Line
If a given line has direction ratios $$a,b,c$$ and a required line passes through $$P(x_1,y_1,z_1)$$, then:
$$\frac{x-x_1}{a}=\frac{y-y_1}{b}=\frac{z-z_1}{c}$$
Usage
- Used to construct a line parallel to another line through a specified point.
