Plane Through a Line and Perpendicular to Another Line

If a required plane contains a line with direction vector $$\vec d_1$$ and is perpendicular to another line with direction vector $$\vec d_2$$, then:

$$\vec N\parallel\vec d_2$$

and:

$$\vec N\cdot\vec d_1=0$$

Usage

- Used to construct a plane satisfying both a line-containment and line-perpendicularity condition.
