Equation of a Sphere

A sphere with centre:

$$C(a,b,c)$$

and radius $$r$$ has equation:

$$(x-a)^2+(y-b)^2+(z-c)^2=r^2$$

Terminology

- Centre: Fixed point equidistant from every point on the sphere.

- Radius: Common distance from the centre to every point on the sphere.

Usage
