Intersection of Two Lines

For two lines:

$$\vec r=\vec a+\lambda\vec b$$

and:

$$\vec r=\vec c+\mu\vec d$$

they intersect if there exist values $$\lambda,\mu$$ satisfying:

$$\vec a+\lambda\vec b=\vec c+\mu\vec d$$

- Used to determine whether two lines intersect and to find their point of intersection.
