Parametric Differentiation
If:
$$x=f(t),\quad y=g(t)$$
then:
$$\frac{dy}{dx}=\frac{dy/dt}{dx/dt}$$
provided:
$$\frac{dx}{dt}\neq0$$
Usage
- Used when both $$x$$ and $$y$$ are expressed in terms of a parameter.
