Limit at Infinity

Rarely Tested

Behavior as $$x \to \infty$$ or $$x \to -\infty$$:

$$\lim_{x \to \infty} \frac{1}{x} = 0, \quad \lim_{x \to \infty} \frac{a}{x^k} = 0 \ (k \gt 0)$$

For rational functions: divide numerator/denominator by highest power.
