Derivative of a Constant

Derivative of a Constant

For a constant $$c$$:

$$\frac{d}{dx}(c)=0$$

Usage

- Used whenever a constant term is differentiated.

Question 1

Evaluate the value of the limit:
$$L = \lim_{x \to 0} \frac{e^{x \cos x} - 1 - x}{\ln(1 + x^2 - x^3)}$$

Question 2

Evaluate $$\lim_{x \to 0} \frac{\cosh(x) - 1 - \frac{x^2}{2}}{x^4}.$$ Here, $$\cosh\left(x\right)=\ \frac{\ e^x+e^{-x}}{2}$$
