Algebra of Continuous Functions

If $$f$$ and $$g$$ are continuous at $$a$$, then:

$$f+g,\quad f-g,\quad fg$$

are continuous at $$a$$.

Also:

$$\frac{f}{g}$$

is continuous at $$a$$ when:

$$g(a)\neq0$$

Usage

- Used to determine continuity of complicated functions from known continuous functions.
