Continuity Does Not Imply Differentiability

Continuity Does Not Imply Differentiability

For:

$$f(x)=|x|$$

the function is continuous at:

$$x=0$$

but:

$$f'_-(0)\neq f'_+(0)$$

Hence it is not differentiable at $$x=0$$.

Usage

- Used as the standard example showing that continuity is not sufficient for differentiability.
