Midpoint of a Chord

If the endpoints of a chord correspond to parameters $$\theta_1$$ and $$\theta_2$$, their midpoint is:

$$M\left(\frac{a(\cos\theta_1+\cos\theta_2)}{2},\frac{b(\sin\theta_1+\sin\theta_2)}{2}\right)$$

Usage

- Used when the midpoint of a chord needs to be determined from its endpoint parameters.
