Relation Between Slopes of Conjugate Diameters

If $$m_1$$ and $$m_2$$ are the slopes of two conjugate diameters of:

$$\frac{x^2}{a^2}+\frac{y^2}{b^2}=1$$

then:

$$m_1m_2=-\frac{b^2}{a^2}$$

Usage

- Used to determine one conjugate diameter when the other is known.
