Diameter of an Ellipse

A diameter is a chord that bisects a family of parallel chords.

For a line through the centre with slope $$m$$, the corresponding conjugate diameter has slope:

$$m'=-\frac{b^2}{a^2m}$$

Usage

- Used in conjugate-diameter and parallel-chord problems.
