Slope of Tangent at a Parametric Point

At:

$$P(a\cos\theta,b\sin\theta)$$

the slope of the tangent is:

$$m_t=-\frac{b\cos\theta}{a\sin\theta}$$

Terminology

- $$m_t$$ → Slope of the tangent.

Usage

- Used to obtain the tangent slope directly from the parametric angle.
