Area of Parallelogram Formed by Conjugate Diameters

If the semi-diameters are $$p$$ and $$q$$ and the angle between them is $$\phi$$, then the area of the parallelogram formed by the conjugate diameters is:

$$A=4pq\sin\phi$$

For an ellipse, this area is constant:

$$A=4ab$$

Usage

- Used in area problems involving conjugate diameters.
