Derivative Criterion for Constant Ratio

For non-zero differentiable functions:

$$\frac{f'(x)}{f(x)}-\frac{g'(x)}{g(x)}=0$$

implies:

$$\frac{f(x)}{g(x)}=C$$

Usage

- Used to recognize when the ratio of two functions remains constant.
