How to Register for CAT 2025?
1. Register as a New Candidate
Go to the official CAT website and click on "New Candidate Registration."
2. Fill the Basic Form
Enter your personal details like your name, date of birth, nationality, phone number, and email ID. Then complete the CAPTCHA and confirm your registration using the OTP sent to your phone and email.
3. Log In and Fill the Full Information
Use the login details sent to you to log in. Now fill out the full application form, which includes:
- Your academic information (from Class 10 onwards)
- Work experience (if any)
- Choose your preferred IIMs and courses
- Select your preferred exam cities
- Upload your photo and signature (as per the given size and format)
- Tick the declaration box to confirm your details
4. Pay the Application Fee
Pay the fee online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
- General category: ₹2500
- Reserved categories (SC/ST/PwD): ₹1250
5. Get Confirmation and Save Your Form
After successful payment, you'll get a confirmation message. You can then download your filled application form for future reference.
Note: Candidates need to take extra care of the information they fill out in the application form. Once the information is filled out, you will not be allowed to change it. Even in the correction window, there are only certain fields that a candidate is allowed to change, i.e., your photo, signature, address, etc. You will not be able to change other fields, such as your academic profile, work experience, etc.
