Homogeneous Equation in $$x/y$$
If:
$$\frac{dx}{dy}=F\left(\frac{x}{y}\right)$$
put:
$$x=vy$$
Then:
$$\frac{dx}{dy}=v+y\frac{dv}{dy}$$
Usage
- Used when the equation is more naturally expressed in terms of $$x/y$$.
