Differential Equation of a Family of Circles

For:

$$x^2+y^2=a^2$$

differentiating gives:

$$2x+2y\frac{dy}{dx}=0$$

or:

$$x+y\frac{dy}{dx}=0$$

Usage

- Used as a standard example of eliminating an arbitrary constant.
