Integrating Factor

For:

$$\frac{dy}{dx}+P(x)y=Q(x)$$

the integrating factor is:

$$IF=e^{\int P(x)\,dx}$$

Usage

- Multiplying the differential equation by the integrating factor converts the left side into a derivative of a product.
