Orthogonal Trajectory Method

If a family has differential equation:

$$\frac{dy}{dx}=f(x,y)$$

then its orthogonal trajectories satisfy:

$$\frac{dy}{dx}=-\frac{1}{f(x,y)}$$

Usage

- Used to find curves intersecting a given family at right angles.
