Section Formula: Internal Division
## Formula
If $$P(x,y)$$ divides the line segment joining $$A(x_1,y_1)$$ and $$B(x_2,y_2)$$ internally in the ratio $$m:n$$:
$$P\left(\frac{mx_2+nx_1}{m+n},\frac{my_2+ny_1}{m+n}\right)$$
## Terminologies
- $$m:n$$ → Ratio in which $$p$$ divides $$AB$$.
- Internal division → Point $$p$$ lies between $$a$$ and $$b$$.
## Usage
- Used to find coordinates of a point dividing a line segment internally in a given ratio.
