Area in Polar Coordinates
For a polar curve:
$$r=f(\theta)$$
the area swept from $$\theta=\alpha$$ to $$\theta=\beta$$ is:
$$A=\frac{1}{2}\int_\alpha^\beta r^2\,d\theta$$
Usage
- Used to calculate areas of regions described in polar coordinates.
