Terminology

- $$u$$ → Function selected for differentiation.

- $$dv$$ → Remaining factor selected for integration.

- $$du$$ → Differential obtained from $$u$$.

- $$v$$ → Integral of $$dv$$.

Usage

- Used mainly for products of functions where direct integration is difficult.
