Circle with a Given Centre Passing Through a Given Point

For centre $$(h,k)$$ and point $$(x_1,y_1)$$:

$$r=\sqrt{(x_1-h)^2+(y_1-k)^2}$$

Hence:

$$(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=(x_1-h)^2+(y_1-k)^2$$

Usage

- Used to obtain the equation of a circle when its centre and one point are known.
