For:

$$x^2+y^2+2gx+2fy+c=0$$

the pole of:

$$lx+my+n=0$$

can be obtained by comparing the line with the corresponding polar equation.

Usage

- Used in advanced pole-polar problems when the circle is not centred at the origin.
