## Formula

For:

$$\sum_{k=m}^{n}a_k$$

putting:

$$j=k+c$$

gives:

$$\sum_{k=m}^{n}a_k=\sum_{j=m+c}^{n+c}a_{j-c}$$

## Usage

- Used to shift indices and combine summations.
