Arithmetic Mean
## Definition / Concept
The arithmetic mean between two numbers is the number that makes the three numbers an AP.
## Formula
If $$a$$ is the arithmetic mean between $x$ and $y$:
$$A=\frac{x+y}{2}$$
Therefore:
$$x,A,y$$
are in AP.
## Usage
- Used to insert arithmetic means between given numbers and establish AP relations.
