Given below are two statements followed by two conclusions numbered I and II. Assume the statements to be true even if they show variance from your own experience. Decide which conclusion logically follows from the two statements. Give your answer as

Question 30

All apples are oranges.
Some oranges are papayas.
I. Some apples are papayas.
II. Some papayas are apples.

Solution

The venn diagram for above statements is : 

Conclusions :I. Some apples are papayas = false
II. Some papayas are apples. = false

Thus, neither conclusion follows.
