In the solution, why is it assumed that A,C>0 ? We can get B=1 even when both A,C<0. This way the number of total solutions possible is 16. Can someone help me with this?

Hi Akash,

As the logarithms of negative numbers are not defined, we can conclude that A,C are greater than 0.
