Periodic Reduction for $$\tan^{-1}(\tan x)$$
## Formula
If:
$$x=n\pi+\theta,\quad \theta\in\left(-\frac\pi2,\frac\pi2\right)$$
then:
$$\tan^{-1}(\tan x)=\theta$$
## Usage
- Used to reduce inverse tangent of tangent to its principal value.
