## Formula

For $$x\ge0$$:

$$\tan^{-1}\left(\frac{x}{\sqrt{1+x^2}}\right)=\sin^{-1}\left(\frac{x}{\sqrt{1+x^2}}\right)$$

## Usage

- Used to interchange inverse tangent and inverse sine when their arguments correspond to the same acute angle.
