Statements
I. International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) — an arm of the world health organisation (WHO) — will meet in France to take a call on bitumen, the black, oily material used to make roads — to be branded as `probably carcenogenic, i.e., causing cancer to humans.
II. IARC has asked experts from across the globe to submit data from their research studies conducted on bitumen so as to help it to come to some conclusion.
