What happens after clearing the CAT exam?

Hi, after clearing the CAT exam, your CAT score-based admissions process for IIMs and other management institutions starts in January (after the CAT results).
The IIMs begin shortlisting applicants for WAT-PI as soon as the CAT results are released online. Shortlisted candidates must fill a form on the official website of the respective IIM for the PI, as part of this process. The institutions then send out interview dates for WAT-PI. After all the interviews, the final shortlist will be released.
The IIM admissions process takes three to four months (Feb to May) for all 20 institutions, and classes start in June or July. This procedure is roughly the same for other B-schools as well.
