Two trains start from stations Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam respectively. Both trains start at 6:00 am and meet at 11:00 am. The distance between the stations is 500 kms. If the lengths of the trains are 600m and 400m respectively, in how much time does the first train cross a passenger sitting in the second train?

In this question while solving, shouldn't the length of the train be considered as 1000m instead of 600m??

if it is asked how much time it will take for the trains to cross each other then you can take the length as 1000 but not in this case
