I hope by the 4th word where you mentioned students, you mean the boys.
Average weight of boys 48 and average weight of girls is 44. Since the average of the whole class is 46.6,
Let the number of boys be x and number of girls be y.
we can we can say that => 48*x + 44*y = 46.6(x+y). We also know that y = x-24, so putting it in the equation we get,
48*x + 44*(x-24) = 46.6*(2x-24)
48x + 44x -1056 = 93.2x - 1118.4
1.2x = 62.4
x = 52. So number of boys is 56 and number of girls is 52-24 = 28,
Hence total number of students = 80
