Keeping in mind a player has to at least score 12 goals we will check from 12*18 and so on, that we will get us to the point where players with the least number of goals are the lowest and their total is 240, { (18*10)+(12*5) = 240 } Ans. 10

Yes the answer will be 9 In my last solution, I ignored the fact that there is 1 player who has scored 20 goals. solution - X1+X2+........+X15=240 X15 = 20 , X14 = 12 Now, X1+X2+...........X13= 208 At only 18*8+12*5 we get a value that is equal to or less than 208 i.e. 204 Hence there will maximum be 8+1 players who can score more than or equal to 18 goals
