Statements: Some oceans are seas. All oceans are rivers. No river is a canal. 23. Conclusions: I. All rivers can never be oceans. II. All canals being oceans is a possibility. 24. Conclusions: I. No ocean is a canal. II. At least some seas are rivers.
hey prathyusha, 24 conclusions are right.... see in the 2nd statement all oceans are rivers.... that means it does not indicate that all rivers are oceans.... and from that 3rd statement it is clear that no link between canal and river.... so it clearly tells that ocean also not having any link with the canal..... and it can be have some link with the sea.....

23. Only conclusion 1 follows. All rivers can never be oceans as it says all oceans are rivers, but we do not know if all rivers are oceans. Conclusion 2 is definitely wrong as canals can never be oceans because of statement 2 and 3.
24. Both conclusions follow. In conclusion 1, No river is a canal thus no ocean can be canal. In conclusion 2, some oceans are seas hence some rivers are also seas.
