While the designer initially started working with metals and gemstones such as gold and diamonds, obtained from intensive mining, the person has now decided to create jewellery only out of ethically sourced and sustainable materials, such as natural clay, wood, glass and artificial, lab-grown gemstones, even though it means higher cost incurred to make each jewellery piece.
