build skills earn good amount of money and if you still have the zeal then give it 2-3 shots laters , so that while preparing for 3 yrs of UPSC you only loose 3 years nothing else and believe me when you have a 20 lacs job as a backup you will be very much motivated as well

I agree with Sumit this is an utter waste of time, crores of Indian youths wasting years memorizing the colour of Babur's underwear and other nonsense stuff. Also, Ritik, just because you droll over IAS doesn't mean the entire world desires it, many civil servants resign from their position to pursue entrepreneurship and UN roles. The desire is often fueled by trapping gullible students with marketing campaigns and there you have an entire generation wasting their time and losing out on career opportunities. I wish this country had such a craze for building startups, wouldn't India benefit if students regularly take breaks to build their startups but alas we want to remain slave of manufactured dreams!
