should I register for IIM K? I scored 89%ile, which clears the official cutoff but nowhere near the cutoff of 97%ile where people usually get PI calls. I got an email saying i am eligible for registration but i am thinking if this is futile.

you should definitely go for it. I also had a classmate who got interview call at 89%ile. Do your best let the fate decide.
