2026 grad here. Since I joined after July 31st, my workex won't even count for shortlists. Is quitting to grind CAT full-time a smart move, or will interviewers grill me for taking a gap year instead of balancing both?

that is solely based on how you wanna prepare and where you are i am in the same boat as you i graduated july 2026 so yeah i know the pressure but there are two things to notice work ex is counted till 31st dec and any work ex less than 12 months is negligible in almost all bschools because of the grading system for it so the balls in your court how you wanna play it
