Pls help me out with this question, I have been trying to solve this question since 3 hrs, the problem is that I am able to form equations but it seems there is no way to solve these peculiar equations, need help--Two joggers left Delhi for Noida simultaneously. The first jogger stopped 42 min later when he was 1 km short of Noida and the other one stopped 52 min later when he was 2 km short of Noida. If the first jogger jogged as many kilometers as the second and the second as many kilometers as the first, the first one would need 17 min less than the second. Find the distance between Delhi and Noida.

as the first one takes 17 mins less for the same distance, in the previous part of the question we can observe that the difference in time is 10 min, and distance is 1 km, so for the remaining km second person would take 7 more min, thereby taking the speed of the second guy as 1/7 km/min, hence deducing that in 52 min at 1/7km/min he would cover 7.43 km, so the total distance between delhi and noida is 7.43+2= 9.43 km or 9.5.
