A solid right Circular Cone of ht. 27 cm is cut into 2 pieces along a plane parallel to its base at a ht. 18 cm from the base. it the difference in volume of the two pieces is 225 cc, the volume, in cc, of the original cone is

now that the cone is cut into two pieces the new cone's hieght is 9 which is 1/3rd of the orifinal cone and also as height reduced to 1/3rd the radius of the new cone to orignal cone will also be 1/3rd therefore the voolume becomes 1/27.. now the new cone's volume is V then the original cone is 27 i.e the frustrum is 26V now as per question 26V-V=225 v comes to be 9 therefore 27V( original cone volume= 27V i.e= 243
