On Sunday morning, a bookstore has an opening stock of 480 copies of a best-selling book. Every day that week, during the day, exactly half the opening stock gets sold. Also, everyday, at closing time, 16 additional copies arrive from the publisher. When the stock goes below 50, the computer system gives a warning and a new bulk order order is placed.
