Your graduation score is a positive, and your category and academic background can also work in your favour. The 12th score and 4-year gap may make some colleges more challenging, but they don’t automatically rule you out. Just make sure you can explain the gap clearly. Also, unless your 4 months of work experience can be properly documented, it may not be counted by some institutes.

For LKI and IIM Mumbai, try to push towards 99+. FMS would ideally require something around 99.5+, while MDI and IIFT could be possible with a score in the 97–99+ range. For IIM Ranchi and Rohtak, anything in the 96–98+ range could give you a chance.

Rather than getting too focused on finding one “safe” percentile, try to maximise your CAT score. The closer you get to 99+ with good sectional scores, the more realistic options you’ll have.
